Mr Luis H. Sanchez

Luis H. Sanchez, age 90, of Monroe, passed away August 29, 2013 at Mercy Memorial Nursing Care Center, he had been in declining health. Luis was born on December 31, 1922 in Arandas, Jalisco Mexico to Raphael and Guadalupe (Hurtado) Sanchez, he moved to the Monroe area in 1958. Luis married Victoria Rodriguez December 1, 1962 in Monroe; sadly she preceded him in death March 19, 1996. Luis was employed by Laborers Local #465 of Monroe; he retired in 1987 after 25 years in the construction business. Luis enjoyed traveling and fixing anything that was broken. Luis is survived by his children, Juan (Jeannie) of Monroe, Miguel (Lisa) of Toledo, Rosario (Thomas) Jason of Sterling Heights, Edelmira Sanchez of Monroe, Guadalupe Sanchez of Monroe and Juanita Sanchez of Philadelphia, PA; grandchildren, Naomi, Anthony, Victoria, Nicole and Benny; sister Maria Sanchez of Mexico. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
