Mr. Joe Chambers

Chambers, Joe, age 89 of South Rockwood, passed away peacefully June 8th, 2017. Born September 25th, 1927 to the late Phillip and Loma Chambers in Ozark, Alabama. Joe proudly served his country during WWII in the United States Navy. On October 11th, 1946 Joe married his lovely wife, the late Lorraine Newsome. Together they would have 8 children, Joseph (Barbi), Michael (Doreen), Tim (Donna), Sandra (James) VanWasshenova, Lisa (Randy) Little, Stephan (Pam), Jeff, and Heidi (Tom) Linfield. Proud grandfather of 21 and great grandfather of 26. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4-8pm and Thursday from 11am until Funeral Services with Military Honors at 1pm, at the Ford Chapel- Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 23620 N. Huron River Dr., Rockwood, MI 48173. Interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery, South Rockwood.
