Jeffrey Lee Redman of Woodhaven, MI, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 after brief illness. Jeff, a native of Gibraltar, MI, was a graduate of Carlson High School class of 1972. Jeff moved to Florida in his 20s and was a restaurant manager before becoming the proud proprietor of Ragin' Reds B-B-Q. Jeff returned to his home state of Michigan in 2001. Jeff was utterly devoted to his parents throughout his life, assisting them as they aged and caring for them unfailingly throughout his life. A fond and fiercely loyal friend, Jeff was an avid sports fan; especially of his hometown Red Wings and Tigers. Jeff was a guru in the kitchen, a ninja with a knife and a creative talent, there was no dish he couldn't prepare and he loved to cook for everyone. Jeff was a gifted artist, phenomenal bowler, golfer and a crossword enthusiast. He was blessed with a sense of humor like no other, and was quick witted always responding with a quip or retort to which you had to smile. We will raise a glass of wild turkey to his traveling spirit, and wish him well as he follows those that preceded him on this next journey. Jeff had a big heart, and he will be deeply missed by all of those who knew and loved him. Jeff leaves behind his loving parents, Marion and Arthur Redman of Gibraltar, MI (Charlotte, NC); two sisters, Suzanne Redman of Charlotte, NC, and Deborah Redman Swinehart and her husband, Lyle Swinehart of Paw Paw, MI; a nephew, Joshua Diedrich of Portage, MI; a niece, Annie Diedrich and a grand-niece, Rowan Diedrich of Tucson, AZ; and a sister in law, Mary Beilman Redman of Stone Ridge, NY. Jeff was predeceased by his sister Denise Redman of Gibraltar, MI, and his beloved brother Kevin Redman of Stone Ridge, NY.
