Mr. Jay E. Hess

Hess, Jay E. Age 71. November 29, 2013 of Melvindale. Beloved husband of 45 years to Phyllis. Loving dad of Todd (Julie) Hess, Rachelle (Jim) Briggs and Jennifer Hess. Proud papa to Alex, Brooke and Caitlin. Dearest brother of Barbara Chamberlin, Jim (Jeannie) Hess, Michael (Silver) Hess and Gary (Joanne) Castle. Preceded in death by his parents Julian and Catherine (nee: Watkins) Hess and 1 sister Sharon. He served his country in the US Army with his best friend and service dog named Bucky in tow. Jay's love in life was his family and watching his kids and grandkids play ball and hockey. He was a fantastic bowler, enjoyed golfing and was a huge Ohio State University fan.
