Mr. James W. Vickroy, Sr.

James W. Vickroy Sr., age 92 of Allen Park, passed away October 26, 2016 at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital. Loving husband Mary and his beloved wife of 43 years Loyola Tremblay. Dear father of Pamela Trainowski, Denise (Michael) Pawlowski, and James (Cathy) Vickroy II. Proud grandfather of Paul, Lori, Jason, Todd, and Tina. Great grandfather of Joshua, Christian, Xavier, Zander, and Victor. Also survived by his sisters Madge (Brennan) Jenkins, Margaret (Bob) Hunt, nephew Ricky Brennan. James was preceded in death by sister Edna Franzel. Step children Donna (the late John) Montgomery, Andrew J. (Dawn) Hornyak, Suzanne (Erik) Trombly, Patricia (Robert) Helgren, and Daniel Hornyak. Step grandfather of RoseMary Howell, Grace (Shaun) Abraham, Donald Montgomery, Judith Montgomery, Gabriel (Jill) Hornyak, Jacob Hernandez, Robert Hornyak, as well as 4 step great grandchildren. James served in the Army Air force during World War II, was a member of the Ford Yacht Club and he also was a retired Ford Motor Co. employee after 41 years.
