Mr. James W. Penix

Penix, James W. Age 81. March 31, 2013 of South Rockwood. Beloved husband of 61 years to Pauline. Loving dad of James Howard (Marji) and Kathy (Charles) Holt. Proud papaw to Chris (Christy), Brandon (Tracy), Michael (Johanne), Caitlin and Mitchell. Great grandfather of John, Shawn and Mikaylah. Papa to Laura and Nathan. Dearest brother of Frances McGee, Doris (Don) Jeffers and Marie Penix. Also survived by other loving family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Sidney and Josephine (nee: Staten), 2 brothers Joe and Fred and 1 sister Lucy Rector. James retired from Cadillac, was a long-time member of the Woodhaven Free Will Baptist Church and his passion was carpentry. "The Master Carpenter called His carpenter home on Easter".
