Mr. James W. Dailey

James W. Dailey was born on April 27, 1929 in Follansbee, West Virginia and passed away on November 6, 2015 in Trenton. He was 86 years old. James was united in marriage to the love of his life, Dolores, on September 25, 1948 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Melvindale. Their marriage was blessed with two wonderful daughters, Christine and Deborah. James worked for Michigan Consolidated Gas Company for many years until retiring in 1989 and was a part of the gun club at work. He also enjoyed building and flying airplanes, but his family was always his first priority. James is the beloved husband of Dolores. Loving father of Christine Dailey and Deborah (Michael) Rowley. Proud grandfather of Jeanine, Jennifer, James (Donna) and Jason (Amy). Great-grandfather of Emily, Jenna, and Sophia. James is also survived by many nieces and nephews and other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Sophia Dailey (Chupella), his siblings, and great grand-daughter Amanda. No services are being held for James, arrangements were handled by the Trenton Chapel of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes. Memorial contributions in honor of James may be made to Beaumont Hospice.
