Mr. James H. Deaton

James H. Deaton, age 50 of Monroe, passed away December 4th, 2016. Loving father of James, Joshua, Jude, and Jared. Dear son of Lynne Deaton and Harold Deaton. James is also survived by a sister Paula Deaton, and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Sadly he was preceded in death by his grandparents Rueben and Pauline Lockwood, and Lawrence Deaton. James loved fishing, music, and was a devoted Detroit Tigers fan. But his true passion was writing. He loved the simple things in life and could see the beauty in all of God's creations. He had the ability to express this through poetry. Some of his work being published. Visitation will take place on Friday from 11am until time of Funeral Service 1pm at the Allore Chapel- Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 203 E. Elm, Monroe. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made directly to the family.
