Mr. Irvin 'Joe' Martin

Irvin "Joe" Martin, age 61 of Monroe, passed away February 24th, 2014. Loving husband of Sue Martin. Dear father of Lisa (fiancée Lauren Headrick) Cacioppo and James (Christina) Martin. Proud grandfather of Erica, Jack Jr. and Zachary Cacioppo, Tyler, Alyssa, and Joseph Martin, named after his grandfather. Joe is also survived by his mother Virginia Martin, sister Louann Dietz, and brothers Bruce and Brian Martin. Born in Detroit, Joe moved to Monroe at an early age, working and retiring from Chrysler in May of 2009 after 37 years of employment. He would later work for Ryder from September of 2009 through January of 2014. In his spare time, Joe enjoyed carpentry work, NASCAR, and fishing. He will always be remembered as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
