Mr. Ian Macaulay Macdonald

MacDonald, Ian MacAulay. Age 82. December 15, 2011 of Trenton. Dear husband of 53 years of Lilian Diakow, M.D.. Loving dad of AnnMarie (Stephen) Pahides of Bryn Mawr, PA. Cherished Papa of Catherine, Alexandria and Stephen Pahides. Dearest brother of Chrissie (Dr. Milo) Danzeisen. Also survived by his nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents John and Catherine and one brother Alasdair (Lauretta). Ian graduated from the University of Michigan and Detroit College of Law, served his country in the US Army during the Korean War, was an Attorney who served the downriver communities, the Trenton and Grosse Ile Public Schools, the City of Trenton and the Kiwanis Club. He was a two time past president of The Grosse Ile Golf and Country Club. Memorial contributions to honor Ian's life may be made to Grosse Ile Presbyterian Church.
