Mr Gregory S. Martin

Gregory S. Martin, age 58, of Rockwood, Michigan passed away suddenly on March 11, 2013 at Oakwood Southshore Hospital Trenton, MI. Greg was born April 22, 1954 to Frances Ann (Staniger) Martin and Thomas R. Martin, he married Ronna Faye (Tuchman) on May12, 1996, sadly she preceded him in death on January 19, 2007. Greg graduated from Gibraltar Carlson High School in 1972 and attended Monroe County Community College where he received an Associates Degree. Greg enjoyed playing golf (where he got a hole in one), bowling (where his highest score was a 299), computer games, cooking and most of all he loved and admired his children. His employment included Downriver Castings and he was last employed with Solutia Inc, (formerly Monsanto) where he worked in the maintainance department, he retired in 2004 after 30 years. Greg is survived by his parents, children, Scott (Jennifer) Martin of Wyandotte and Shayna (Luke) Shocklee of Rockwood; siblings, David (Mary) Martin of Gibraltar, Bruce (Jane) Martin of Carleton and Teri (Robert) Dreyer of Trenton; and he is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He will be loved and missed by many.
