Mr. Gerald E. Mcvey

Gerald E. McVey, age 76, of Flat Rock, MI passed away October 26, 2012 at Oakwood Southshore Hospital after a lengthly illness. Gerald is the beloved husband of Constance (Hetterscheidt), loving father of Deborah (William) LaBell and Richard (Angela) McVey, proud grandfather of Rachel (Brad) Bain, William (Amanda) Labell, Ashley, Sara and Courtney McVey, great grandfather of Skyler, Jacob, Brennen, Dana and Hunter. He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Sophie (Miller) McVey, siblings, Thomas McVey, Ethelean Klien, Leona Martintinaitis, Jack McVey and Velva Lipski. Gerald was a carpenter for most of his life, owning his own business for many years and was employed by General Motors for 15 years and at Ford Motor Company for 18 years. He enjoyed billiards, building, bowling and fishing.
