Mr. Eugene Rekuc

Rekuc, Eugene. April 10, Age 88, of Allen Park. Beloved Husband of the late Eleanore. Dear Father of David (Sandra), Dennis, Thomas (Sharon) and Timothy (Treacy). Also survived by 12 grandchildren Bryan Garbacz, Carla Mackey, Karen Strong, Matthew Rekuc, Krystyna Rekuc, Steven Rekuc, Lindsay Clements, Brien Rekuc, William Rekuc, Jason Rekuc, Jennifer Dixon, and Mary Rekuc. As well as 15 great-grandchildren Austin Rekuc, Logan Teatsorth, Molly Mackey, Elyse Strong, Morgan Rekuc, Emma Mackey, Ariel Teatsorth, Jason Garbacz, Emily Strong, Alana Garbacz, Benjamin Rekuc, Michelle Garbacz, Savannah Rekuc, William Clements and soon to be born Baby Clements. Eugene was the son of Terentj "Mike" Rekuc and Kazmiera (Zalewska) Rekuc and was preceeded in death by siblings Janina Gawlawska, Phyllis (Gawlawska) Manick, Zigmund "Rex" Rekuc, and Edward Rekuc. Eugene had a 30+ year career at Ford Motor Company retiring from the pre-production control group of the Automotive Assembley Division. Rosary was changed to 6:30 Visitation Wed 3-9pm at the Allen Park Chapel of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. in state Thursday 12noon at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church until time of Mass 12:30pm. www.martenson.com
