Mendrysa, Edward. Age 86. October 22, 2011 of Riverview. Beloved husband of the late Rena. Loving father of Edward, Dennis, Renee (Alan) Guyot and Michelle (Paul) Thrasher. Proud grandfather of Carly, Corryn, Ava and Lorenzo. Also survived by 1 brother Frank and 1 sister Rose Gass. Preceded in death by his parents Frank and Rose and 1 brother John. Edward served his country as an officer in the US Navy during WW II, owned a super market with his wife Rena in Lincoln Park and spent the rest of his career as a teacher in Allen Park. Memorial contributions to honor Edward life may be made to The American Cancer Society or Capuchin Soup Kitchen
