Mr Donald L. Frederick

Donald L. Frederick, age 80, of Trenton, MI formerly of Rockwood, MI, passed away peacefully in his home Thursday April 3, 2014. Don was born January 19, 1934 in Ohio to the late Fern and the late Louella (Yetter) Frederick. He graduated from Napoleon High School in 1951, and married the love of his life Mary (Schmidt) February 27, 1954 in Napoleon. Don was employed with B.F.Goodrich Co. in Toledo and was transferred to the Wyandotte Michigan Plant in 1967, the family made their home in Rockwood, MI. Don also proudly served his country in the US Air Force. Don was later employed in the maintenance department for the Gibraltar School District where he retired. After retirement Don and his wife enjoyed traveling to the Myrtle Beach and the Florida Gulf Coast area in the winter months. Don was an avid NASCAR fan an thoroughly enjoyed being with his family and grandchildren. Don is survived by his wife Mary; daughters, Donna (Edward) Stein of Gibraltar, Carolyn Saam of Gibraltar, Joan (Richard) Garvin of Grosse Ile and Marilyn (Paul) Kaliszewski of Woodhaven; twin sons, David (Jeanette) Frederick and Dale Frederick both of S.Rockwood, grandchildren, Melissa Rathbun, Christy Biller, Rachel Reaume, Emily Stein, Andrew Kaliszewski, Nicholas Garvin, Katelyn Kaliszewski, Chirstopher Frederick and Jacob Frederick; 7 great grandchildren; siblings, Eileen Knipp of Dayton, Ohio and Lynn (Sharon) Frederick of Defiance, Ohio.
