Mr. Dan S. Dishneau

Dan S. Dishneau, age 71, of Rockwood, MI passed away Wednesday June 25, 2014 at Oakwood Southshore Hospital Trenton, MI. Dan was born April 26, 1943 in Delray, MI to the late Wilford Roy and Jean (Anderson) Dishneau; he graduated from Trenton High School. Dan married the former Pearletta Marie Cross in Toledo, Ohio on December 11, 1987. Dan proudly served his country in the US Navy from November 1961 to March 1966. Dan was employed by U.S Silica as a millwright for over 36 years, he retired in 2004. Dan enjoyed restoring classic cars and antique tractors, preferably John Deere Tractors. He liked to garden and most of all he loved being with his grandchildren. Dan is survived by his wife Pearl; children, Danny Bryant (Gwen) Dishneau of Carleton, MI, Kenneth Stewart Dishneau of Trenton, MI and Shae Tiffany Dishneau of Toledo, OH; 7 grandchildren; siblings, Jim (Joann) Dishneau of Grosse Ile, MI, Ronnie (Maureen) Dishneau of Myrtle Beach, S.C., David (Paula) Dishneau of Harrison, MI, Clifford Dishneau of Arizona, Sharon (Tim) Jackson of Trenton, MI and Mary Dishneau of Brownstown, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Bill and Kate. In keeping with Dan's wishes, there will be no visitation services will be private.
