Mr. Clarence "Ken" Schafer

Schafer, Clarence "Ken". Age 87. November 6, 2011 of Southgate. Beloved husband of 60 years to Vernagene. Loving dad of Robert and Lori (Tony) McAdam. Proud papa of Melissa. Dearest brother of Gladys (the late Jack) Budd, Willard (the late Pat) and Lawrence (Wilma). Preceded in death by his parents George and Elsie and 1 brother Harold (Muriel). He was a former assistant fire chief for Ecorse Twp., was active with the Schafer High School Band, a leader with the Boy Scouts and he enjoyed wood working. Memorial contributions to honor Clarence's life may be made to St. Paul United Church of Christ.
