Taurence, Chester E. Age 92. September 21, 2011 of Grosse Ile. Beloved husband of the late Arlene E. Loving father of Joanne (Werner) Diersch, William (Cindy), Susan (Robert) Shafer and Kathleen (James) Lowlor. Proud grandpa of Brandon, Ashley, Allison, Matthew and Megan. Great grandpa of Kellan, Colin and Julia. Dearest brother of Richard (Helen) and Alberta Gasorski. Also survived by his friend and companion Sophie Sadonis. Chester was the Founder and Chairman of Painters Supply & Equipment headquartered in Taylor, MI. He served his country overseas in the Army Air Corps during WW II. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Special Olympics Michigan, American Cancer Society, or American Heart Association.
