Mr Charles J. Bogedain, Sr.

Charles J. Bogedain SR., age 71, of Maybee, MI passed away July 26, 2013 at St Josephs Mercy Hospital Ypsilanti, MI. Charles was born December 19, 1941 in Monroe to Louis and Luella (Hisler) Bogedain, he graduated from Dundee High School in 1960, and married Pauline Purvis on January 11, 1969 at St Joseph Catholic Church Maybee. Charles was a life member of St Joseph Catholic Church Maybee where he served on the church council and was a member of the church Men's Club. He also was a member for over 25 years with the 4H Club of The Monroe CO. Fair and a member of South East Michigan Antique Tractor & Engine Association. Charles employment included Connors Elevator Dundee in the early 60's, Bellville Plating Co. and Auto Alliance Flat Rock where he retired in 1997. Charles enjoyed faming and just being around tractors and most of all he enjoyed his family. Charles is survived by his wife Pauline; children, Charles Bogedain Jr. of Dundee, Jeffrey (Diane) Bogedain of Linden, Frank (Rebecca) Bogedain of Maybee and Laura (Chad) Conley of Mio; brother, James (Linda) Bogedain of Ida; he was preceded in death by his parents, two infant brothers and daughter in law Anne Bogedain.
