Mr. Carl Leroy Mason

Born in Wyandotte, Carl was the son of James & Gladys (Wykoff) Mason. A veteran of the United States Army, he married Ruth Shinavier June 20, 1959. Carl worked as a Scheduler at Great Lakes Steel, retiring in 1992. Carl was most proud of his family, his faith and being friends with Bill W. He at one time was the Worshipful Master of the Lincoln Park Mason Lodge and a Cub Scout Leader. Carl leaves to cherish his memory Ruth, his wife of the past 53 years; his children: Daniel (Rena) Mason of Huron Township, Elaine Mason of Findlay, Ohio, Paul (Claudia) Mason of Oak Ridge, North Carolina, David Mason of Walnut Cove, North Carolina and Marilyn Mason of Trenton; as well as 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and two sisters: Helen (Clifford) Coffee of East Rockwood and Betty (Bill) Hitchcock of Hazel Park.
