Brian Alvin Russeau, 58 of Monroe, was born to Herman and Rosalyn (Nieswender) Russeau, Sr. in Monroe, Michigan. He grew up on the family farm as one of eight children. On March 11, 2015, Brian was reunited with his parents and other loved ones in Heaven. Along with his siblings, he helped run Russeau & Sons Nursery and the family's farm in Monroe, Michigan. Brian retired from WH Canon out of Romulus, MI, after a lengthy landscaping career. Brian enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Some might have called him stubborn or difficult, but to many others he was a caring brother, son, uncle, nephew, and friend. Brian would not hesitate to help anyone that asked. He could be seen daily caring for the numerous animals that he raised on the family farm, as well as selling fresh eggs. To lighten his workload and have more time to enjoy his retirement, Brian recently began downsizing the farm. Although Brian never married and had no children of his own, he leaves the following to cherish his memory. Siblings: Harold Russeau of Newport; Linda (Marlow) and Richard Harper of Monroe; Herman and Christy (Parker) Russeau, Jr. of Maybe; Preston and Nancy (Parker) Russeau of Maybe; Barry and Connie (Desbrough) Russeau of Dundee; Louise and David Borgert of Petersburg; and Douglas and Janet (Roberts) Russeau of Monroe. Additionally, he leaves behind 19 nieces and nephews; and 26 great-nieces and great-nephews. Brian will also be missed by two uncles: Albert (Bud) and Betty Nieswender of Jackson; and Millard and Jimmie Nieswender of Monroe; as well as numerous cousins, friends, and "adopted" family members. Waiting to greet him in Heaven are his parents; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; brother-in-law Larry Marlow, Sr., and sister-in-law Joan (Saja) Russeau. Memorials may be made to donor's choice of charity.
