Mr. Art Nagy

Art Nagy, age 80 of Brownstown, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2015. He was born on April 13, 1935 in Detroit to his parents James and Agnes Nagy (Wargo). After graduation, Art joined the U.S. Navy and proudly served our country from 1952 to 1960 as a hospital corpsman and was also a police officer for Dearborn Heights. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him. Art is the Beloved husband of Judy for 27 years. Loving father of Ken (Pat) Nagy, Kim (Bob) James, Kris Miller, Kyle (Crystal) Nagy, and Kraig Nagy. Step-father of Dawn (Mike) Dazell, the late Brian (Linda) Hensley, and Sheri Hensley. Proud grandpa of eleven and great-grandpa of four. Dear brother of Zoltan (Penney) Nagy and James (Jeannie) Nagy. Art is also survived by other loving family and friends and his dog Pepe. He was preceded in death by both of his parents, his step-son Brian, and his two faithful dogs Lexi and Gypsie. Visitation will be held at the Trenton Chapel of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes on Sunday from 1 pm to 4 pm with a service at 1:30 pm. Memorial contributions in honor of Art's life may be made out to the Alzheimer's Association.
