Monika B. Myers

Born in Chicago, Illinois, Monika was the daughter of Klaus and Traudel (Wegener) Kummer. She married the love of her life, Fred Myers, on April 10, 1982. Monika worked for many years as a Dispatcher for the Rockwood Police Department and as a Records Clerk for the City of Trenton. She was very active in her community having served on the Rockwood City Council, volunteered for many elections and always watching out for her neighborhood. She loved animals of all kinds, gardening and working in her yard. Monika leaves to cherish her memory, Fred, her husband of the past 34 years; her parents Klaus and Traudel Kummer of Ann Arbor; two brothers: Eric (Stacy) Kummer of Seattle, Washington and Mark (Christine) Kummer of Memphis, Tennessee; as well as a niece and three nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Monika may be made to The Humane Society.
