Beloved mother of Anna (Frank) Solis, the late Joann Gilbert, Melinda Elkins, Marilyn Elkins, the late Joseph Gorecki and Felicia Gomez. Proud grandma of Crystal, Samantha, Anthony, Sara, Juanita, Jesse, Chelsea, Mariah, Matthew, Tatyana, Pamela, Jennifer, the late Kelly, Billy, Steve, Jaquoya, Alisa, Joseph and Bobby. Great grandmother of 17. Cherished daughter of Simon and the late Juanita. Also survived by 11 brothers and sisters as well as other loving family and friends. Marlene was born May 12, 1951 in Detroit, Michigan; she was a retired United States Federal security officer who loved dancing and going to bingo; she also was an active member of the Detroit Police Reserve.
