Mildred Kay Miller

Mildred Kay Miller (nee: Fowler) of Dearborn Heights was born in Iaeger, West Virginia on October 18, 1941 and went home to be with the Lord surrounded by her family on December 5, 2017. Beloved wife of 59 years to Floyd. Cherished mom of Marlene (David) Woodard, Darlene (Wayne) Ramey and Melinda (Brian) Rakes. Proud grandma of Randall II, Sarah, Jason, Michael, Amanda, Matthew, Brian II, Andrew, Rachel, Joshua and Chelsea and proud great grandmother of 9. Dearest sister of Roy Fowler, Dolores Caylor, Jerry Fowler, the late Harry Fowler and Helen Fowler. Also survived by her nieces, nephews, other loving family and many friends. Preceded in death by her parents Roy and Helen (nee: Allen ) Fowler. Mildred Kay cherished her family and was a faithful woman of God and prayer who loved reading the Bible and singing. Visitation is on Thursday, December 7, 2017 from 3 – 9 pm at The Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. (Corner of Goddard), Allen Park. She will lie in state on Friday at 10:30 am at the Heritage Park Church of God, 12550 Pardee Rd., Taylor until the time of the funeral service at 11 am. Everyone is invited to join the family on Monday at 1:30 pm at Great Lakes National Cemetery for the committal. Memorial contributions may be made to Angela Hospice.
