Michael S. Laakko

Michael S Laakko of Lincoln Park, 74, passed away in his sleep on May 26. Survivors include his daughter Jamie Laakko (Jason Heinrich), grandson Lyric Kresmer, and siblings Randall Laakko (Mildred), Karen L. Feil (Clinton), Cathy Laakko (David Fennell), and many loving cousins. Michael was the beloved son of the late artist Dorothy M. Laakko, the late Michael S. Laakko Sr., and Brother of the Late Erick J Laakko Memorial services to celebrate the life and memories of Michael S. Laakko JR will be announced to close relatives and friends in the coming months ahead. The family is thankful for the friendship and kind support that JJ Lewy, Jim Mneice, Jane and Andre Mykytenko extended to Michael over many years. He was very grateful in his last days for the friendships of his neighbors in his community & fish fry Friday’s at Mcafferys Bar. He will be missed dearly by all who had the honor of his devoted companionship.
