Michael Nowicki

Born in Hazel Park, Michael was the son of Edmund and Pelagia (Blachura) Nowicki. A graduate of Pershing High School, he faithfully served our country in the United States Marine Corps. Michael married the love of his life, Sylvia Skowran on December 21, 1965. He retired from Kelsey Hayes after more than 30 years of service. Michael was a member of St. Mary Our Lady of The Annunciation Catholic Church in Rockwood where he had also served as an usher. Michael leaves to cherish his memory, Sylvia, his wife of the past 55 years; a daughter Erica (William) Carrothers; four grandchildren: Alexander, Evan, Piper and Cora; as well as a brother Charles Nollet. Sadly he was preceded in death by his parents, brother Edmund Nowicki, and sister Denise Opiekun.
