Michael J. Billock

Born in Monroe, Mike was the son of John & Orlanda (Germani) Billock. He married the love of his life, Linda Burggrave on June 7, 1968 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Mike received his Associate's Degree from Davis College and then his Bachelors in Business Administration from Cleary College. He worked for Consolidated Paper Company, Ford Motor Company and then 27 years with Detroit Edison as a Contract Analyst, retiring in 2007. Mike was a talented musician playing drums with several groups including Sandstorms, the Monroe Big Band and Hot Water. He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, the Toledo Jazz Society, Great Lakes Maritime Institute and was an active volunteer for St. Vincent DePaul. Mike leaves to cherish his memory, Linda, his wife of the past 45 years; two sons: Scott (Christine) Billock of Toledo and Shawn (Kara) Billock of Toledo; a brother John (Wanda) Billock of Monroe; as well as nine grandchildren: Brooke Billock, Brandi Billock, Gage Billock, Alexandria Billock, Victoria Billock, Lainey Billock, Rachel Billock, Diezel Cook and Amelia Cook. Sadly he was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Society.
