Michael David Hattie

Michael was born on March 6, 1944 in Detroit, Michigan. He graduated in 1963 from St. Cecilia High School in Detroit and married Lorraine "Lorrie" (nee: Simpson) on July 23, 1971 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Detroit. They have shared their life together for 42 years. In addition to his wife Lorrie he is survived by his daughters Cinde (Matt) Kornacki, Pam (Jim) Hattie-Morris and Shellie (Jake) Lazarus. He is the proud papa of Melissa (John) Kelly, Keith Hattie, Kyle Hattie, the late Stephanie Hattie, the late Michael Hattie, Alex Hattie, Dylan Lazarus and Ethan Lazarus. Great papa to Payton Kelly and Isaac Hattie. Also surviving are one brother Skip, one sister Rita Polek as well as other loving family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Agnes (nee: Loersen) Hattie, 3 brothers Don, Bob and Jerry and one sister Mary Wrathell. He will be missed by his dog Chip. Michael served in the National Guard and retired from AMC Wonderland Theater after serving the AMC Theaters for many years.
