Michael A. Desilvis

Born in Lansdale, Pennsylvania, Michael was the son of Nicholas and Willie Mae (Isabell) DeSilvis. He married the love of his life, Connie Roush, on March 23, 1968. Michael worked for Holly Carburetor for many years. From 1982 until 2005 he worked in Car Sales, most recently with Taylor Ford. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus 1266, and had been on the Monroe County Tax Review Board. His hobbies included Photography, riding his bike and swimming at the YMCA, he also was the Softball Director for the Frenchtown Recreation Department for many years. Michael (along with his whole family) was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers Football fan, that some would say bordered a full blown obsession. But his favorite pastime was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Michael leaves to cherish his memory, Connie, his wife of the past 47 years; children: SuAnn Fegley of Mertzville, Pennsylvania, Jaylee (Jim) Kounovsky of Monroe, James (Kim) DeSilvis of Lambertville, Nick (Bridget) DeSilvis of Lambertville and Khari DeSilvis of Monroe; grandchildren: Bohden, Chase, Cheyenne, Jessica, Anna, Michael, Zachary, Kennedy, Rylie, Hannah, Isabella, Kori and Giavanna; as well as his siblings: Nicholas (Linda) DeSilvis of Lansdale, Pennsylvania, Robert (Jackie) DeSilvis of Westchester, Pennsylvania, Anthony (Lucy) DeSilvis of Lambertville, Matilda DeSilvis of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Linda Conley of Oregon. Sadly he was preceded in death by his parents. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution in Michael's honor are asked to consider the American Cancer Society.
