Merice Blackburn

Merice was born on July 14, 1938 in Dyersburg, Tennessee and died on August 26, 2019 at the Willows at Howell at the age of 81; she was of Howell. Beloved sister of the late Murell Blackburn and the late Doris Davis. Proud aunt of Kari (Craig) Vest, Lori (Michelle) Whitney, Dean (Tammy) Blackburn, Vikki Whitney and Daniel (Jessie) Blackburn. Dearest friend of the late Jean St. Marie. Also survived by other loving family and friends. Merice will also be missed by her Cocker Spaniel, M.J. Visitation is on Friday, September 6, 2019 from 10:30 am until the time of the service on Friday at 12 pm both at The Trenton Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd., Trenton. Interment Ferndale Cemetery in Riverview. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to the Michigan Humane Society.
