Melita Purvins

Born in Riga, Latvia, she married the love of her life, Julius Purvins on December 23, 1939. Sadly he preceded her in death February 13, 2000. A devoted homemaker, Melita also had worked at Reisig Cleaners, Gruber's Grocery Store and Food Town. Melita leaves to cherish her memory her children: Ansis (JoAnn) Purvins of Monroe and Ruta Veitch of Monroe; four grandchildren: Kim (Chuck) Onstott of Anchorage, Alaska, Greg Veitch of Auburn, Washington, Michael (Jackie) Purvins of Newport and Laura (Mark) Galfano of Fox River Grove, Illinois. In accordance with Melita's wishes, cremation arrangements have In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Melita may be made to ProMedica Monroe Hospice.
