Maxine Morgan

Born in Nauvoo Alabama, Maxine was the daughter of Henry & Martha (Johnson) Jenkins. She married the love of her life, Everett Morgan, on January 18, 1943. Sadly he preceded her in death April 11, 2007. A dedicated homemaker, Maxine was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and the Ladies Bible Study group. She also was an avid Detroit Tigers Baseball fan. Maxine leaves to cherish her memory her children: Roger (Barbara) Morgan of Monroe, James (Judy) Morgan of Lewiston, Michael (Connie) Morgan of Newport, Gale (Will) Witt of Port Charlotte, Florida and Tammy Goltowski of Carleton; as well as 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and two sisters Velma (Bill) Blair of South Rockwood and Clayeen (Gene) Stankiewtz of Columbia, South Carolina. In addition to her parents and husband, Maxine was preceded in death by two brothers: B.M. Jenkins, Billy Jenkins and four sisters: Florence Townley, Flora Farley, Molly Hoosier and Dorothy Underwood. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethany Baptist Church.
