Maxine C. Bass

Maxine C. Bass, age 89 of Riverview, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2022 at Beaumont Hospital Trenton. Born February 19, 1933 in Lincoln Park, Maxine was the daughter of Whitmore and Myrtle Mumford. A 1950 graduate of Lincoln Park High School, she married the love of her life, Rubin Bass in August of 1956. A dedicated homemaker, Maxine also had worked for McCord Gasket in Wyandotte for over 22 years, retiring in 1992. She enjoyed outdoor activities such as horseback riding, camping, snowmobiling. She also enjoyed crocheting and spending time at the family home up-north, but her most treasured times were those spent with her family. Maxine leaves to cherish her memory, Rubin, her husband of the past 66 years; children: Ed (Linda) Bass, Jackie Bass and Patrick Bass; 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Sadly she was preceded in death by her parents; a son Robert Bass and a sister Helen Morosa.
