Matthew Mierzwinski

Born in Inkster, Matthew was the son of Douglas and Carol (Cartwright) Mierzwinski. A self employed General Contractor, he enjoyed cooking and music. Matthew’s love of music was something he enjoyed as a young boy and his “playlists” included music of all genres. He knew more songs than most. Matthew went to school to become a chef and enjoyed cooking for others. Fish Tacos was his favorite dish to impress everyone. He loved to make people laugh, even at the most awkward times, saying the most unusual phrases that would have everyone smiling. Matthew’s friends were very important to him and he always considered them to be his family. He had a great love for Florida and always dreamed about living on a sailboat and sailing around the world. Matthew leaves to cherish his memory his three children: Alexander Mierzwinski, Andrew Mierzwinski and Anna Mierzwinski; his grandmother Wanda Mierzwinski; a brother Roy Cartwright; an uncle Mike Mierzwinski; aunt Carol Zawacki; his fiancé Kathy Bomia; his faithful companion, his dog Tetra and his mother Carol Mularski.
