Maryann Anders

Click on Tribute Wall link to watch Tribute Video. Maryann Maynard Anders of Charlotte, North Carolina, formerly of Trenton, Michigan, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2021. She was born in Detroit on August 31, 1950. She is survived by her daughters, Malena Anders and Krista Anders, her granddaughter, Melony Hooper, her sisters, Sandra Fournier (George) and Debra DeMeno and her brother, James Maynard (Joyce). Proceeded in death by her siblings, Charles Griffin, Sharon Beebe, Thomas Griffin, Pamela Sorensen, Jay Hanna and Judith Grimins. She is loved by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Maryann loved spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter and her grandpuppies. You would often find Maryann sitting in a coffee shop or sipping coffee. She never met a stranger. Maryann enjoyed helping others, she had the gift of writing poetry and she loved music, especially singing karaoke. She was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church before moving to North Carolina. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Maryann.
