A video tribute will be added, please check back. Mary Toth. Age 98. Passed away at her home on July 6, 2019; she was the widow of Andrej Toth. Born in Slovakia, she was the daughter of Peter Hric and Margaret Jenca. Mary was employed at Fisher Body where she worked as a sewer and she was a member of St. Andrew and Benedict Church in Detroit. Mary enjoyed gardening, crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be remembered for her strength and pioneering spirit. Mary is survived by her daughter Mary Howey; her grandchildren Christopher (Gabrielle) and Jennifer (Daniel) Burke and her great grandchildren Mimi, Nicholas, Ashley, Brandon and Tyler. Mary will lie in state on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at St. Andrew and Benedict Church, 2430 S. Beatrice, Detroit, MI 48217 from 9 am until the time of the Funeral Liturgy which will begin at 10 am.
