Born in Lansing, Mary was the daughter of Howard and Eva (McDonald) Rickel. She married the love of her life, Carlson Robideau, on November 8, 1952. Sadly he preceded her in death July 7, 1998. A dedicated homemaker, Mary was a member of St. Roch Catholic Church in Flat Rock where she was an avid volunteer throughout the years, as well as transporting many home bound parish members to church and medical appointments. She worked several city elections , volunteered for the Crop Walk and Meals on Wheels. Mary leaves to cherish her memory her children: Brian (Kate) Robideau of Allen Park, Deborah ( the late Pete) Wolfinger of Evans, Georgia, Dale (Maryann) Robideau of Trenton, Kenneth (Karen) Robideau of Northville, Laurin (Ronald) Lawson of Flat Rock, Carlson "Tony" (Jill) Robideau of White Lake, Gary (Janette) Robideau of Perth, Australia and Mary Cay (John) Bottrell of Dearborn Heights; as well as 15 grandchildren: Hillary, Tracey, Trisha, Nathan, Kyle, Jacob, Jonathon, Kali, Jennifer, Matthew, Ryan, Amanda, Michael, Jason,Evan; and 3 great grandchildren: Leyna, Kenzie and Reagan. In addition to her parents, husband and son-in-law, she was preceded by an infant daughter and a brother Bruce Rickel.
