Mary Jo Umbenhowar

Mary Jo was born on April 20, 1943 in Swifton, Arkansas and died on November 4, 2019 at Beaumont Hospital Dearborn at the age of 76; she was of Dearborn Heights. Beloved wife of the late Ronald. Loving mother of Rhonda Lynch, Donna (Rich) Sowards, Ronald, Michael (April) and the late Deborah. Proud grandmother of 16 and great grandmother of 10. Also survived by many other loving family and friends. Preceded in death by her parents Vaughn Strothers and Jewel Hively (nee: Perdue) and one brother James Strothers. Visitation is on Friday, November 8, 2019 from 10:30 am until the time of the service on Friday, November 8, 2019 at 2 pm both at The Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. (Corner of Goddard). Interment Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions to honor Mary Jo’s life may be made to the family-payable to Donna Sowards.
