September 15, 1946 — November 27, 2016

Mary Isobel Gaylor

Loving and devoted wife of Leonard Gaylor, mother of three; step-mother of three; grandmother of twelve and great grandmother of four. Mary was born September 15, 1946 to Charles and Wilma (Jackson) Seymour in Trenton. She passed peacefully November 27, 2016 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit while holding her husband's hand. Mary's early years were spent in Taylor where she graduated from Taylor High School, followed by her dedicated service to General Motors SPO in Livonia, before retiring to her haven home in chosen Maybee. Despite traveling to 49 U.S. States, 26 countries and making friends in all areas she graced, Mary remained a dedicated Michigander. Mary was a blessed friend to many and ardent guardian to those in need. She will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a memorial contribution in honor of Mary are asked to consider the: Mary Gaylor Christmas Decoration Fund of Maybee. Donations may be made at the funeral home or at First Merit Bank of Maybee, P.O, Box 224, Maybee, Michigan 48159. As this was always her passion and gift to the community.
