Mary I. Hickman

Mary was born on October 12, 1924 in Detroit, Michigan and died on May 20, 2017 at Bellaire Senior Living in Riverview at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Earl Hickman. Loving mother of the late Joseph, the late Robert and Joseph A. (Marcy). Proud grandmother of Shalen. Also survived by her niece Aurellia, step children, step grandchildren and other loving family and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Aurellia (nee: Sartore) Chiocchetti and one brother Arthur Chiocchetti. Mary was a five time cancer survivor; four times which were due to breast cancer. Family was her love in life and in her later years she enjoyed painting. A committal service will be at the chapel at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Brownstown Twp. on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 2 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to The Care Team Hospice and may be mailed to 30500 Northwestern Highway, Suite 307, Farmington Hills, MI 48334.
