Mary Colucci

Mary Colucci passed away November 15, 2017. Mary was born on May 20, 1921 in Tuglie, Lecca, Italy to Cosimo Romano and Elvira (Colozzo) Romano. Mary came to American through Ellis Island at 6 years of age. She grew up in Highland Park and Dearborn, Michigan. Mary married John G. Colucci on March 23, 1940. They started a family and resided in Trenton, Michigan. In 1983 after retirement, they moved to Orlando, Florida. Mary moved back to Michigan in June of 2016. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, John and daughter and son-in-law Charlotte and Charlie Lowler. Mary is survived by her daughter, Nancy Urtriainen and son John (Patricia) Colucci, Jr. Her brother Ralph (Liz) Romano, sisters Lee (Chuck) Casper, Marina Romano, and Remmy (Dennis) Parker. Three grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. As well as many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heartland Hospice or the charity of your choice. A special thank you to the care givers of Island Pines Residential Assisted Living for the loving care they provided to May for the past nine months.
