Mary Cathrine Owen

Mary Cathrine was born on April 25, 1917 in Detroit, Michigan and died on October 27, 2016 at Elmcroft of Downriver at the age of 99; she was of Trenton. Beloved wife of the late Richard "Dick". Loving mother of the late Randolph "Randy", Mary "Maryliz" Cohn and Margaret "Margo" (Greg) Krusinga. Proud grandmother of Robert (Nicole) Landon, Randi Lynn (Craig) Olson, Jenifer Landon and Ryen Krusinga. Great grandmother of Connor, Julia, Erica, Rahne, Owen and David. Also survived by other loving family and friends. Preceded in death by her parents Donald and Agnes (nee: Carter) Morrison and one brother James Morrison. Mary Cathrine graduated in 1939 from the University of Michigan; she was retired from the Grosse Ile Public School System. A memorial gathering is on Saturday, November 5, 2016 from 12 noon until the time of the memorial service on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 2 pm both at The Trenton Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd., Trenton. There will be a procession to Glenwood Cemetery immediately following the memorial service. Memorial contributions may be made as the donor chooses.
