Martin L. Selvidge

Born in Monroe, Martin was the son of Leonard and Leona (Miller) Selvidge. He married Linda Bonifacio on July 3, 1965 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Martin owned Monroe Underground Construction Company. After his retirement he became an owner/operator in the trucking industry. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and was a Board Member with Catholic Social Services as well as Past President for Heartbeat of Monroe. Martin also had been very active with the Monroe County Republican Party. Martin is survived by Linda, his wife of the past 51 years; his children: Martin (Julie Ann) Selvidge of Dundee, Laura (Del) Pressotto of Monroe and Carrie (Larry) DeLucia of Dundee; grandchildren: Amanda Selvidge, Kristine Pazdzior, Gregory Selvidge, Nicholas Pressotto, Alaina Pressotto, Anna DeLucia, Lauren DeLucia and Josephine DeLucia; as well as three sisters: Linda Selvidge of Monroe, Diane Selvidge of Brownstown and LouAnn Selvidge of Monroe. Sadly he was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Robert "Bobby" Selvidge. In Lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a Memorial Contribution in Honor of Martin are asked to consider the Humane Society of Monroe County.
