Martha Ann Harris

Martha A. Harris—February 18, 1957 – August 23, 2016. Martha was a sassy woman, with an infectious laugh and a love for chocolate, comfy slippers, and four-legged friends. And she was one hell of a warrior. She battled Multiple Sclerosis for over 30 years and made the decision to survive using grace, humor and courage. Martha married her first love, David, over 42 years ago and was the mother of two daughters, Christine (Brian) Fitzpatrick and Carrie Clemente. She loved her three grandchildren John, Nick and Alia with all her heart. She was the oldest of eight children to Louis and Gloria (Slumpff) Staley and a strong limb on her family tree. She was often the holiday host welcoming her siblings, Pamela (Dan) Riordan, Evelyn (John) Baker, Robert (Cindy) Staley, Theresa (Ken) Kuhn, and Mary Jane (Todd) Ghodolian, and many nieces and nephews into her home. Many loved her, including her mother-in-law, Mary. We have faith that she has been reunited with her father, grandparents, sister Mary Elizabeth and brother Louis Anthony.
