Marlene I. Pavlick

Marlene Irene Pavlick, age 81 of Grosse Ile Township passed away peacefully with her family by her side on August 15, 2024. Loving wife of Richard for 59 wonderful years. Amazing mother of Richard M. Pavlick and Lisa (Brian) Nagy. Beloved grandmother of Kyle, Rhiannon, and Evan. She also leaves behind her former daughter-in-law Angela and many nieces and nephews. Marlene was preceded in death by her parents Stanley and Irene Rak and her sister Marsha Lytle.

Marlene was a devoted homemaker while she raised her two children. She returned to the workforce and worked at American Sunroof Company in Southgate as a Buyer in the Purchasing Department until she retired. Marlene’s caring and compassionate nature led her to join an adult philanthropic sorority where she actively worked on numerous fundraising events and volunteered for various organizations. She enjoyed gourmet cooking, ceramics, sewing and painting. She especially enjoyed creating various crafts for the grandchildren she adored.

A memorial gathering will take place at the Trenton Chapel of Martenson Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A short memorial service will begin at 6:00 pm.
