Mark Steven Couch

Mark Steven Couch of Rockwood passed away on October 24, 2023, at age 67.

Born in Detroit on March 30, 1956, Mark was the son of Harold and Elizabeth (Toor) Couch. He was a 1974 graduate of Carlson High School. Mark married the love of his life, Shirley Brannon, in 1978. A life-long entrepreneur, Mark operated Woodside Meadows Golf Course for over 30 years. He enjoyed traveling to Florida, but his most treasured times were those spent with his family.

Mark leaves to cherish his memory Shirley, his wife of 45 years; his sons Steven (Megan Homan) Couch and Michael (Kim) Couch; a granddaughter Amy Couch-Homan; his father Harold Couch; and four siblings: Susan (Michael) Young, Michael (Stephanie) Couch, Marty (Jessica Hubbard) Couch, and Kathy (Nick) Morris; along with beloved nieces and nephews. Sadly, he was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mark’s honor may be made to the Rockwood Goodfellows, Huron Township Goodfellows, or Gleaners Community Food Bank.
