Born in Wyandotte, Mark was the son of Joseph Stanley Hodnicki and Rose Marie (Wrobelski) Hodnicki. A graduate of Aquinas High School, he worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator with Edward C. Levy Co. for over 47 years. Mark married the love of his life, Lorrie Garcia, on December 12, 2002 after being together for 11 years. He was a member of the Heavy Equipment Operators Union, Local 324. Mark enjoyed bowling, camping and boating, but his most treasured times were those spent with his family.
Mark leaves to cherish his memory, Lorrie, his wife of the past 21 years, together for a total of 33 years; children: Robert (Michelle) Hodnicki, Mary (Geoff) Janowiak, Angela (Ethan) McClain, Richard (Brittany) Hodnicki and Jeffrey (Christina Woodbeck) Hodnicki; as well as 6 grandchildren with one on the way; as well as 2 siblings: Timothy (Crystal) Hodnicki and Linda (Kevin) Kramer; and a brother-in-law Wade Ventress. Sadly he was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Lorie Anne Ventress.
