Marjorie Ann Miller

Marjorie Ann Miller, age 86 of Monroe, passed away November 13, 2021 at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital. Born on October 18, 1935, Marjorie was the daughter of Irvin and Margaret (Ihrig) Schmelz. She was married the love of her life, Stanley Miller, on April 16, 2004 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Monroe. Marjorie was employed for over twenty years in many states as an LPN in numerous hospitals and in private nursing, but loved labor and delivery the most. She enjoyed traveling, reading, and cooking. Marjorie leaves to cherish her memory Stanley, her husband of the past 17 years; children: Jeffrey (Zenny) Dussia, Bryan Dussia, Keith (Michelle) Dussia and Paula (Joe) Mastrangelo; step children: Eric (Kim) Miller, Neal (Suzette) Miller, Cynthia (Greg) Vedra and Amy (Pat) Vines; 22 grandchildren and 12 great grandchild; as well as her sisters: Jean (Jim) Falk, Sally (Raymond) Baudino, and Jane Dessum; and many nieces and nephews. Sadly she was preceded in death by her parents; a brother Richard Schmelz; a sister-in-law Marjorie Schmelz and a brother-in-law Norm Dessum.
