Marion Thersia Leanza (nee: Loranger) was born on February 10, 1924 in Detroit, Michigan and died on July 26, 2020 in Riverview, Michigan at the age of 96; she was of Trenton. Beloved wife of the late Sam Leanza. Loving mother of Barbara (the late Richard) Gravel, Richard (Delores) Fraley and Joseph (Peggy) Leanza. Proud grandmother of Mary Gravel-Day, Debra (Kevin) Bond, Richard Fraley, Jason Fraley, Adam Fraley, Vincent Leanza and great grandmother of Forester Day, Chancellor Day, Patrick Bond, Matthew Bond, Nicholas Bond, Joshua Fraley, Jason Fraley, Jonas Fraley and Jarron Fraley. Dearest sister of the late Glenn Loranger. Preceded in death by her parents Hector and Marie J. (nee: Bauerle) Loranger. Marion worked as a cashier in supermarkets and in their cheese dept; she worked mainly in the food industry. She liked to cook, especially Italian foods. She liked to make homemade spaghetti noodles, ravioli & lasagna. When she could, she liked to take care of & help with the grandchildren. That was her true joy.
